MALÅ / STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN, August 1, Swedish geotechnology and software company Guideline Oil Drilling Technology today announced that their wholly owned subsidiary MALÅ Geoscience has hired Niclas Ingemarsson as new CEO. Mr. Ingemarsson has a successful track record from managing growth companies in the technology sector, including Haestad Methods, a water technology and software company which he grew some 400 % in a six-year period.

MALÅ is pleased to announce the release of the Professional Explorer (ProEx) System. At the heart of this new system is the ProEx Control Unit. Designed on a completely new technical platform, the ProEx is the most versatile control unit in the MALÅ range and replaces the CUII as the new high-end full range system.


In November 2001 the Swedish company MALÅ, with it's GPR technology (Ground Penetrating Radar), was assigned the task of investigating and mapping the underground damages caused by the catastrophe at World Trade Centre. The assignment went on from December to January, and attracted a great deal of attention in the US. It has lead to an international break-through for the MALÅ technology, which has unlimited applications on the global market.


The project will be carried out by financial support from the local government in Västerbotten in Sweden and was presented in a letter from the Swedish Prime Minister Göran Persson to the Mayor of New York Rudolph Giuliani in conjunction to there meeting in New York Thursday evening.
