MALÅ X3M Integrated Radar Control Unit

The MALÅ X3M system is the most compact GPR system commercially available on the market.

The MALÅ X3M is an integrated radar control unit, fitted directly on a shielded antenna and powered externally. The built-in electronic design makes it low weight and compact size system, easier to assemble and operate. No cable is required since the unit communicates directly with the laptop.

Based on the flexibility and the modularity of the MALÅ ProEx, the MALÅ X3M is fully compatible with the Windows based acquisition software Ground Vision.

250 MHz shielded antenna
250 MHz shielded antenna Dimensions (L x W x H): 0.78 x 0.44 x 0.16 m. Weight: 8.0 kg

The shielded 250MHz antenna is a general purpose antenna that delivers medium penetration and medium to good resolution. The shielded design enables the antenna to be used in noisy city environments. Together with the shielded 500MHz, it is the most common antenna used for utility, UST and void detection.
100 MHz shielded antenna
100 MHz shielded antenna Dimensions (L x W x H): 1.25 x 0.78 x 0.20 m. Weight: 25.5 kg.

The shielded 100MHz antenna is constructed to give optimal data in noisy environments. It is designed for relatively deep penetration and mid-range resolution.
800 MHz shielded antenna
800 MHz shielded antenna Dimensions (L x W x H): 0.38 x 0.20 x 0.12 m. Weight: 5 kg

The shielded 800 MHz antenna delivers very good resolution for shallow investigations. Due to the interchangeable antenna electronics (interchangeable with the 100, 250 and 500 MHz antennas) users find the 800 MHz to be an economically very good alternative to the high resolution 1200, 1600 and 2300 MHz antenna. The shielded 800 MHz antenna is commonly used for mapping road beds and concrete structures.
500 MHz shielded antenna
500 MHz shielded antenna Dimensions (L x W x H): 0.5 x 0.33 x 0.16 m. Weight: 5 kg

The shielded 500MHz antenna is a very popular general purpose antenna that delivers mid-range penetration and good resolution. The shielded design enables the antenna to be used in noisy city environments. The shielded 500 MHz antenna is the most common antenna used for utility detection.
